A few of the final images for my first semester project.
Situated on an old railway swing bridge, my design focused on water, usually a cause of severe flooding in the area, and turning it into something beautiful. The concept is that as people cross over the bridge, jets are activated, initially all of them create the sense of the river passing over head, before quick individual bursts take over that arch over head. Another feature was to provide a water display to warn local residents that the river level is rising and to take action.
The aim was to create an experience, that varied depending on the information provided (differing footfall).
